A Poem - The Churches

The empty fallen churches of old

Lay desolate, they have no wealth,

Where is their gold?

Like the Titanic sinking,

The last patriarch to leave

Prays for the hearts, that one day

They will believe.

The serpent has taken away the souls,

Distracted they are with his idols.

Sing louder, for chaos creates noise,

Let the Lord hear prayers

From your girls & boys.

Open the churches’ doors,

Welcome them all in with their flaws.

Praise be to Jesus, for you are saved.

Step out of this world,

Come on, be brave!

Amen
